Do you badly need a treatment for sweating? Are your sweat gland causing you entirely unnecessary aggravation? Then look no further! We have 5 tips and treatments to help you stop sweating fast.
Look down. What are you wearing?
Is it a man-made fabric? Tight? Then you have a problem right there. Wearing tight clothes, particularly those made of man-made fibers such as polyester will make you sweat even when you’re not really prone to it. These sorts of clothes don’t allow your skin to breathe, or have any kind of air circulation close to them.
I’m not saying you need to constantly wear $$$ Egyptian cotton all the time, but giving yourself some room to breathe and buying a cotton mix will work wonders for your comfort. It will also work wonders for any body odors which are exacerbated by sweat being held close to the body.
Wear dark colors.
If you like dark colors such as navy, black and deep red then this is your lucky day. You are already wearing the right color clothing to hide sweat. If you are a bright clothing person, I’m sorry but it may be time to hang up the bright yellow halter neck. If you want to wear color, then use accessories to brighten up your outfit. These will have the added bonus of drawing attention away from problem areas such as underarms.
While these last two tips aren’t exactly treatments for sweating, they are however tricks of the trade which will help you to hide the problem while you get sorted.
Moving away from tips we can now look at treatments; there are more obvious tricks of the trade. Finding a medicated antiperspirant deodorant which works for you may seem simple to some people, but many other believe that because one doesn’t work, none will.
Deodorants are as individual as shampoos, skin creams and make up; it can take some time to find the right one for you. If you feel it’s necessary, make an appointment with your doctor who may be able to recommend an antiperspirant for you.
Look into more permanent resolutions such as botox as a treatment for sweating. If you feel that you have reached that stage, then there are medical options to help you. While no one should go for a medical procedure without careful consideration, for some it is the only option for them to feel comfortable with themselves. Again, consult your doctor and seek expert advice on the problem.
The final tip is just to stop and think. Why are you sweating?
Is there a medical problem such as Hyperhidrosis which is causing you to sweat, or is there another underlying problem. We all know that stress and worry causes us to sweat. Ensure that there isn’t another problem before trying to stop your sweating. You don’t want to mask the symptom of a problem which needs treating at its route cause. Treatment for sweating doesn’t have to stop at the sweat itself. If there is some other problem, medical or otherwise, which is causing you to sweat then the best advice is to find it and stop it as soon as you can.
Good luck!
